Basetsana Kumalo is an experienced and well established Business woman. She is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Basetsana Woman Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
Basetsana is one of south Africa's leading Business women and has already made her mark in various communities, business and government arenas.
She is a philanthropist at heart with her interests being in Mining, Property, Media and Technology.

Basetsana, former President of the Business women’s Association of South Africa is the Executive Chairman of Tswelopele Productions, a television production company which produces Top Billing, Pasella, Ses’Khona amongst others. A Director at Travel with Flair, she also owns her own optical, sunglasses and cosmetic range.

Besides being nominated by former First Lady Graca Machel as one of five celebrities who volunteered to take a public HIV test, Basetsana also assisted in raising funds for the Baragwaneth Children's Hospital.

Basetsana is a volunteer for Agang Sechaba. The aim of this project was for various professional women to come together and give something back to the various township communities into which they were born.
A devoted Christian, Bassie received a special award from Operation Hunger, the Cancer Association of South Africa and the RDP (Reconstruction and Development Programme), in which she played a key role. Just to mention a few, these included Childline, Take a Girl Child to Work and Reach for a Dream.
Bassie is a Life Champion's for Life College, an organization steered towards being a catalyst for psychosocial and economic empowerment in Southern Africa, by providing character and leadership education.
Bassie has a Diploma in Marketing from Damelin. She is currently completing a degree in International Relations and Political Science.
A wonderful achievement for 2011 was that Bassie was been nominated by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader to represent our country South Africa, a country that she is very proud of.
More importantly Basetsana is a mother and wife.
